A wearable piece of graphic history — now pinned to your lapel. The imagery on this set is drawn from an original 1986 Soviet theatre playbill by K. Vorobyeva, produced for the Leningrad Puppet-Marionette Theatre’s production of New Adventures of Kolobok — a children’s musical based on the beloved Russian folklore tale.

Kolobok — whose name derives from the Old Russian kolo, meaning “wheel” or “circle” — is the Russian equivalent of the Gingerbread Man: a round, singing bread roll who escapes a series of forest predators before meeting his match in the wily Fox. Vorobyeva’s design gives him a distinctly theatrical twist, merging his round form with a musical note to emphasise his signature song. The Fox, dressed in a traditional floral shawl, faces him across a vivid emerald green ground — the classic hero-and-trickster dynamic rendered in a bold, storybook illustrative style.

With a print run of only 3,000 copies, the original poster is a genuinely scarce document of Soviet theatrical life. These pins bring that graphic energy into everyday wear.
